about

on a quest to find the missing art

something is missing.
art is missing from the world. art is missing from your life. the missing art lives inside us all, waiting to be teased, painted, sculpted, dreamt, collaborated into the world.
the missing art lives all over the world, waiting patiently to be discovered. artists working quietly, their genius yet to be encountered and appreciated by us. it’s everywhere, yet often elusive. it’s the object of our quest.

join the community, take a class, seek/discover some abandoned art, support an artist by purchasing their work… and you have joined the quest.

my home studio is located in Sandpiper Bay, Port Saint Lucie, FL.

if you sign up with a class at my home studio, i will send you my address. until then, i live in the shadows.

have art supplies will travel.

if you have a great spot for an art class, i will happily bring the party to you. we may need to talk about minimum attendence.

corina pelloni’s work ranges from two dimensional paintings to three dimensional sculpture. her favorite medium is ‘all of them’, and she often incorporates a strange assortment of objects and materials into assemblage sculptures and mixed media projects.

she has worked in graphic design and web design, the custom cake business, social media marketing, and has taught painting classes, jewelry classes and mask making / storytelling workshops.

her conviction that local culture should support the creative work of its residents inspires her to work with other locals on projects such as Howl at the Moon Writers Jam, Soul Arts Society, the False Key Anthology Series, the Urban Stories Festival, and more. she served as a member of the art committee at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Treasure Coast, showing the work of local artists and art associations.

Howl at the Moon Writers Jam is an original content open mic that has met every month for 9 years. the core group of Howl writers, plus a few others, annually co-publish the False Key Series, stories that take place on a mystical island off the coast of Florida.

she has no formal educational degrees, but will one day return to school for the joy of learning. until then, she will work diligently at her own art, and in her community to create forums for shared aesthetic experience, both visual and literary. (read her artist statement here.)
